PILOTS END STRIKE

On 30 September 2009 Air India pilots ended a five-day strike after the airline agreed to abandon plans to cut salaries; however, most of the pilots have not yet returned to work, and delays and cancellations have continued. The airline hopes to resume normal operations later on 30 September. The airline has started accepting new ticket reservations again
