PILOT STRIKE ENDS
14 Sep 2009
Jet Airways pilots ended their strike action on yesterday, after five days of disrupting flights. Approximately 450 pilots returned to work after Jet Airways managers agreed to reinstate four pilots who had been dismissed during the initial stages of the dispute. The airline has resumed normal operations and has offered passengers who were affected by the cancellations a full refund on airfare. Although the strike has ended, negotiations are still ongoing to resolve all disputes with the airline's pilots.
