FLIGHTS FROM MUMBAI WILL BE LIMITED ON TUESDAYS

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport has announced that runway construction will limit airport operations each Tuesday for the next 22 weeks. The construction is expected to affect operations between the hours of 1200 - 1800 local time. Officials are advising travellers to arrive at the airport early for their scheduled flights on Tuesdays when construction is taking place. Only smaller aircraft -- including Boeing 737s and Airbus 320s -- will be allowed to depart and arrive during the scheduled construction times. In anticipation of the disruptions, airlines have cancelled or rescheduled approximately 100 flights.
