FLASH FLOOD SWEEPS BUS OFF BRIDGE, KILLING AT LEAST SEVEN

On 13 July 2009 a bus was swept off a small bridge in the Orissa state by flash floods. The driver reportedly ignored warnings from the passengers not to cross the bridge. At least seven people were killed in the incident and another 15 were missing according to officials. Emergency workers rescued 20 of the passengers downstream.
