Bomb on passenger train kills 3 & injures 30

On 1 December 2008 a bomb exploded on a passenger train in India's Assam state. The explosion killed at least three people and injured another 30. The bomb was left in a bag on the train. An ethnic insurgent group is suspected in the attack, but no one has yet claimed responsibility. Authorities do not believe the bombing is related to the 26 November attacks in Mumbai.
