Airport strike causes long delays

Budapest’s International Airport was brought to a stand-still yesterday when airport worker unions declared an indefinite strike. The protest is over working conditions. Almost all outgoing flights for the afternoon hours were canceled. Incoming flights were able to land but long delays have been reported at customs. Airport officials are currently in talks with union leaders.
