Traffic controllers strike delays flights for 4 hours

On 15 July 2010 all flights in and out of Greece were delayed for at least four hours as air traffic controllers held a strike to protest government austerity measures. The air traffic controllers were only expected to participate in the work stoppage until 1200 local time. Government offices and public services will remain suspended through the rest of 15 July, and a demonstration is scheduled to occur outside the Parliament building
