Student violence continues for 6th day

Students hurled stones and fire bombs at police stations in several Athens suburbs on Thursday, this is the sixth consecutive day of violence in the city although central Athens was calmer. People returned to work after a 24-hour general strike on Wednesday called by unions against pension reforms and privatisations. There are rallies planned later today in central Athens and protests announced for Friday and Monday.
