Police & protesters clash for a 5th day

Protesters and police clashed outside parliament in Athens during today’s general strike which has brought Greece to a standstill. More than 10,000 people gathered in the Greek capital where they were protesting against the government's economic policies. The demonstration turned violent and marks the fifth day of clashes since the shooting of a teenage boy by police last Saturday.Riot police fired tear gas and protesters responded with fire bombs, stones, bottles and sticks.
