Pipe bomb expoldes in Athens

A pipe bomb exploded outside a training center for civil servants in the Patissia district of central Athens at 2240 local time (1940 UTC) on 28 March 2010. The blast killed one person and injured two others; authorities suspect that the victims were looking for food and clothing in the area and may have inadvertently picked up the bomb. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, although domestic militant groups are suspected.
