Homemade bomb explodes in Athens

On 18 March 2009 a homemade bomb exploded outside the office of a ruling party lawmaker in Athens, causing only minor damage and no injuries. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, which bore characteristics similar to recent attacks against Citibank branches in Athens. The militant group Revolutionary Struggle claimed responsibility for those incidents on 11 March.
