Childcare Centers planning to stage a protest in Athens

The Greek Union of Childcare Centers is reportedly planning to stage a protest in Athens on 10 November 2008, which may affect traffic in the city. The protesters plan to form a line of 200 buses along Kavalas Avenue next to the Sarakakis building, on Syngrou Avenue near the Ledra Marriott Hotel, on Vouliagmenis Avenue next to the First Cemetery and near the Pedion tou Areos Park. They will then travel to Syntagma Square. The action is being organized to protest the government's refusal to allow the union to operate kindergartens.
