Airport ground staff stage warning strike

Ground staff at Berlin's Tegel (EDDT/TXL) and Schoenefeld (EDDB/SXF) airports staged a warning strike on 27 May 2010 to protest issues related to pay and working conditions. The work stoppage resulted in the cancellation of dozens of flights at the airports, including an estimated 20 flights at Schoenefeld Airport. Most of the disrupted flights were operated by EasyJet and were scheduled to travel to European destinations. The strike ended at 1000 local time (0800 UTC).
