Air Traffic Controllers To Stage 4 Day Strike

French air traffic controllers are planning to stage a four-day strike beginning on 23 February 2010 to protest a proposal to integrate the country's air traffic control services with those of five other European countries. Flight disruptions are expected at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle (LFPG/CDG) and Orly (LFPO/ORY) airports in the Paris area, and other facilities could also be affected. A work stoppage staged over the same issue in January 2010 resulted in the cancellation of approximately 15 percent of commercial flights in the Paris area.
