Personal belongings and baggage total limits

If your Personal belongings and/or baggage are damaged, lost, stolen or destroyed during your journey, our travel insurance policies will cover you up to a maximum of:

£3,000 on Premier Plus policies;
£2,000 on Premier policies;
£1,500 on Standard and Backpacker policies;
£1,500 on Budget policies;

Single Item limits - these are referred to as "one item/pair or set limits" in the policy wording.

The maximum limit for any one item, pair or set is:

£300 on Premier Plus policies;
£250 on Premier policies;
£200 on Standard and Backpacker policies;
£125 on Budget policies;

Personal belongings and baggage are as follows:

Each of your suitcases, trunks and similar containers (including their contents) and other articles which belong to you (or for which you are legally responsible) including your valuables.

Please note cover for Personal belongings and baggage is not included in certain policy options. This will be displayed when you receive a quote online and on your Policy Schedule once you have purchased.
