The Know Before You Go campaign has ended

The Know Before You Go campaign was launched by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) back in 2001 as a means to help provide essential information on travel abroad for citizens of the UK. Aiming to prevent and limit any potential emergency situations that could arise whilst a British Citizen is abroad.

Stay safe whilst you are away

The main point of the Know Before You Go campaign is to help you stay safe abroad. The Government run scheme offers a wealth of information on proper travel preparations and plenty of useful information on making the most of you holiday in a safe manner.
