Do you insure people with pre-existing medical conditions?

We are able to cover the vast majority of pre-existing medical conditions under our Standard, Premier, Premier Plus and Backpacker policies.

You may be required to pay an additional premium in order to include cover for your pre-existing medical conditions. Please note that cover will not be provided for any claim arising from undisclosed medical conditions.

If you have a medical condition for which you require cover you will need to declare this to us when you purchase your policy. You can do this whether you purchase your policy online or via our call centre.

Please note that cover for pre-existing medical conditions is not available on our Budget policy.
