How do I make a claim in the event of adverse weather?

The adverse weather conditions have substantially increased volumes of calls to the Direct Travel Insurance contact centre.

While we have boosted staffing levels to cope with this extreme situation and are processing the majority of enquiries, you may experience difficulty in trying to contact us.

If you need to make a claim because of the recent bad weather, did you know you can download a claim form from our website which you can print off, complete and send to us?

To find out whether you could make a claim, please refer to the following sections in your Direct Travel Insurance policy wording which may apply:

• Section 1 Cancellation and Curtailment – What you are covered for 2c
• Section 7 Missed departure – What you are covered for 1a
• Section 8 Delayed departure or abandonment – What you are covered for – 1c and 2
