Two aid workers kidnapped along the Somali-Ethiopia border

According to reports published on 23 September 2008, two aid workers were kidnapped along the Somali-Ethiopia border by unidentified gunmen. Sources report that the workers were traveling in the Ogaden region when they were abducted by well-armed assailants and taken to the central Somali region of Galguduud. The aid workers are affiliated with the aid group Medecins du Monde. No details on the nationalities of those abducted were released.
