Taxi drivers block access to Prague's Ruzyne Airport

Taxi drivers reportedly blocked access to Prague's Ruzyne Airport (LKPR/PRG) on 1 October 2008 in a protest against the terms of their contract with the airport and are calling for a review. Approximately 50 taxis were involved in the protest, blocking roads and only letting ambulances and fire trucks pass. The drivers threatened to stage additional protests, blocking traffic each workday, until their demands are met, but it is not known if the action continued on 2 October.
