Two bombs explode in Bogota

According to local sources, two bombs exploded in central Bogota during the late evening hours of 17 September 2008. Details regarding the incident are sketchy, but at least two people were injured. Authorities stated that a third device was defused. A bomb also exploded in Ipiales, which is located along the Colombian-Ecuador border; the device caused some material damage but no injuries. Colombian officials suspect that FARC perpetrated the attacks.
