Tropical storm heading for Hong Kong

According to meteorologists at Wilkens Weather Technologies, on 5 August 2008 Tropical Storm Kammuri has continued to track west-northwest at 8 mph/7 kt over the past six hours. Kammuri is forecast to strengthen in the next 24 hours before it is due to make landfall to the west of Hong Kong at 0600 UTC on 6 August. Currently, Kammuri is located approximately 160 mi/260 km southeast of Hong Kong and has maximum sustained winds of 74 mph/40 kt, with gusts up to 93 mph/50 kt.
