Family attacked at Kunming Airport

On 10 February 2009 a man attacked four people with a knife at Kunming International Airport (ZPPP/KMG), located in Yunan province, reportedly after an altercation with personnel at the Lucky Air reception desk. The man stabbed a family of three and their friend. Two people were killed in the violence and the two others are reportedly in critical condition at a local hospital. The man was apprehended immediately after the incident and an investigation is currently underway.
