Causeway Bay MTR station in Hong Kong closed down when a suspicious package was found

Emerging reports on 8 August 2008 state that three exits at Causeway Bay MTR station in Hong Kong closed down when a suspicious package was found at Exit D at approximately 1530 local time. Officials with the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau have arrived at the scene and have closed nearby roads, including East Point Road and Lockhart Road. In addition, some shops have been closed to ensure public safety. The device reportedly consists of a cylinder with wires attached. Investigations are ongoing.
