Bottle of acid thown into crowed market in HK

On 8 June 2009 an unknown perpetrator threw a bottle of acid from a building into the crowded Mongkok shopping district in Hong Kong. The attack was the third such incident to occur in the area in the past six months. At least 24 people were injured. A surveillance system has been activated in the district in response to the attacks. Authorities currently have no suspects, and have offered a reward of 900,000 Hong Kong dollars for information leading to the attacker's arrest.
