Bomb exploded at Lan Airlines building

At approximately 2020 local time (0020 UTC) on 23 March 2010 a bomb exploded at the LAN Airlines building in the Las Condes district of Santiago. Authorities at the scene discovered a bottle with hydrochloric acid and coins, which may have been used to construct the explosive device. The explosion did not result in any casualties and caused only minor damage to the facade of the office. No group or individual claimed responsibility for the attack.
