NEW GOVERNMENT EXPECTED BY END OF JULY

On 10 July 2009 Boyko Borisov, who is the winner of the general elections that took place earlier this month, announced that a new government would be initiated by the end of this month. A coalition government may be formed with the smaller right-wing parties; however, a finalized decision has not yet been made. On 14 July the president is expected to convene the new parliament, after which he will ask Borisov to form a cabinet
