Airports working normally again
31 Jul 2008
Reports indicate that Brazil's airports are operating normally after workers agreed to end a strike following a pay raise offer by their state employer. However, personnel at the airports of Manaus (SBEG/MAO) and Porto Alegre (SBPA/POA) have not accepted the deal. Workers went on strike at midnight on 29 July to demand a 10.56 percent wage increase and other benefits.
