Tropical Storm Kyle forming in the Atlantic

Tropical Storm Kyle formed in the Atlantic Ocean on 25 September 2008. As of 1200 UTC on 26 September, the storm was located approximately 500 mi/805 km south-southwest of Bermuda. The storm is moving north-northwest at approximately 13 mph/11 kt and has maximum sustained winds of approximately 60 mph/52 kt. According to meteorologists at Wilkens Weather Technologies, the storm is expected to strengthen as it moves over warm waters heading in a northward direction. Although the storm is expected to pass to the west of Bermuda, a tropical storm watch is currently in effect.
