Workers at Brussels International Airport go on strike

Workers at Brussels International Airport (EBBR/BRU) launched a strike on 11 August 2008 to protest working conditions. The labor action is reportedly causing delays and cancellations to most flights operating into and out of the airport. Employees of Flightcare and Aviapartner -- which provide baggage handling and other services at the airport -- are participating in the strike.
