Public transport general strike today will also affect Eurostar

There will be a general strike on Monday 6 October 2008 that will affect public transport. The STIB/MIVB confirmed there will be no Tram/Bus/Metro services and the Belgian Railway company SNCB/NMBS also confirmed there will be a general train strike all over the country. In addition, this will affect all Eurostar services between the UK and Brussels.
