BAHRAIN AIRPORT TO GET NEW BOMB SCANNER SYSTEM

A new explosive detection system to screen passenger baggage is scheduled to soon be installed at Bahrain International Airport; the system is currently in place in the transit area and will be expanded as part of efforts to further increase security and make screening procedures more efficient. The new system will streamline security checks, as baggage will be screened through automated machines following the check-in process
