Our British Airways prize draw has recently ended and soon we will announce the winner of the Club Class flights to any Worldwide destination.

The lucky winner will be drawn at random and details will be published on this page.

If you purchased any travel insurance policy between the 27th July and 30th September 2009 you will have been entered into the draw – so it could be you!

Prize draw Terms and Conditions

1. This prize draw is open to UK residents, aged 18 years or over, who purchase a Direct Travel Insurance policy, but excludes those purchased via moneysupermarket.com. The draw is not open to employees of Direct Travel Insurance, its parents or subsidiary companies, agencies, their family members or anyone directly associated with the draw.
2. No purchase, payment or contribution is necessary to enter. Entries can be submitted by sending name, address, email and telephone contact details to – BA Prize draw, Marketing Department, Direct Travel Insurance, Shoreham Airport, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex BN43 5FF. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post.
3. The person named as the lead traveller on the eligible policy will be the name entered into the prize draw.
4. Policies must be purchased and entries submitted by midnight GMT on 30th September 2009 in order to be eligible.
5. The draw will take place on 1st October 2009. The winner will be drawn at random and under independent supervision from all eligible entrants that have provided correct contact details. The winner will be notified by email or telephone within 14 days of the draw taking place.
6. The winner will be required to participate in any publicity connected with this promotion.
7. Details of the winner may be obtained by sending a stamped self addressed envelope to the address given below, after 15th October 2009
8. The prize is a pair of tickets for one Winner and one Guest (aged 18 years or over at the time of travel) travelling together to cover: Return British Airways Club class flight tickets from the UK airport where the outbound international flight departs to any Worldwide airport served by a direct British Airways flight.
9. Domestic or codeshare flights are not included in this prize.
10. Winners must make their own way to and from their home to the UK airport that is the departure point of the international flight.
11. Winners must give at least 30 days notice prior to the requested departure date.
12. The prize is subject to availability and valid for 12 months only from the date of prize notification.
13. Once confirmed in writing, travel dates and names of those travelling are not changeable. If the Winner and Guest are not available on the travel date, no alternative dates shall be available and Direct Travel Insurance shall have the right to choose an alternative winner at its sole discretion.
14. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes, any additional expenses, including all incidentals, not listed as part of the prize package above. Travel insurance is not included in the prize.
15. Winners must be in possession of a valid 10-year passport with a minimum of 185 days validity on the date of return to the UK.
16. Winners must meet all necessary entry requirements for their country of destination, including any applicable visas. Appropriate travel insurance will also be required.
17. Winners must not travel contrary to medical advice and they will have received any recommended inoculations and/or vaccinations prior to travel.
18. It is a condition of entry that all terms and conditions are accepted as final and you agree to abide by those terms and conditions.
20. Only one entry per policyholder or household is allowed.
21. The promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
22. The prize described is available at the date of publication. Events may occur that render the draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Direct Travel Insurance and accordingly Direct Travel Insurance at its absolute discretion may vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Direct Travel Insurance as a result thereof. 
23. The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative, in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the promoter reserves the right to provide alternatives of equal or greater value.
