Two homemade bombs planted in the Sydney suburb

Two homemade bombs were planted in the Sydney suburb of Lane Cove North on 15 July 2008. Police officers responded to the scene after residents in the area reported hearing a small explosion. A second explosive device was discovered on Walkers Drive and later dismantled by a bomb squad. The first bomb exploded near a car and reportedly caused little damage. Investigators believe the two explosive devices were made with incendiary chemicals and they are trying to determine who is behind the incidents.
