ARMED ROBBERIES REPORTED AT PERTH TRAIN STATION

Police officers in Perth announced on 6 July 2009 that criminals have been staging armed robberies at the Burswood train station. Authorities stated that a number of suspected youth gangs have threatened passengers with knives, targeting mainly people carrying expensive electronics.
