A Qantas Boeing was forced to make an emergency landing at Adelaide Airport

A Qantas Boeing 737-800 was forced to make an emergency landing at Adelaide Airport (YPAD/ADL) on 28 July 2008 after a door covering the wheel bay did not close properly after take-off. The aircraft landed safely, and passengers were transferred to other flights to Melbourne. The incident comes three days after another Qantas Boeing was forced to make an emergency landing in Manila after a large hole was ripped in the fuselage.
