Delays & flight cancellation due to aircraft shortage & oversold tickets

Several domestic and international flights were delayed or canceled for a second straight day at Ezeiza International Airport (SAEZ/EZE) and Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport (SABE/AEP) on 28 July 2008. Delays or cancellations are likely to continue for several days. A spokesperson for Aerolineas Argentinas (AA) stated that the flight disruptions are the result of a shortage of aircraft and of oversold tickets.
