Airline workers at Buenos Aires strike

Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral Lineas Aereas workers at Ministro Pisarini International Airport (SAEZ/EZE) in Buenos Aires launched a strike on 24 October 2008 after two passengers allegedly assaulted airline employees. The passengers, who have since been arrested, became angry after learning that their flight had been canceled at a check-in counter. Most flights have been canceled or delayed as a result of the strike. The incident has not affected the operations of other airlines at the facility.
