TERRORIST PLOTS UNCOVERED AGAINST U.S., BRITISH AND DANISH EMBASSIES

Reports indicated on 2 July 2009 that Algerian security forces have broken up an al-Qaeda terrorist cell that was planning attacks on the United States, British and Danish embassies in the country. The cell was discovered during the course of an ongoing security operation.
