21 injured including six police in suicide car bomb attack

On 3 August 2008 a suicide car bombing ocurred in Tizi Ouzou, located in the Kabylie region. The bomb damaged surrounding buildings and caused 21 injuries; six of the injured were police officers. The explosion occurred near a police station, which is suspected to be the target of the attack. No further information is available.
