There are very few ski insurance policies that truly give you the protection you
need. With one in five winter sports enthusiasts having to use their insurance policy,
quality of cover rather than the cheapest price is increasingly the priority for
most skiers and snowboarders.

Over the last 15 years we have provided winter sports cover for 1.4 million people.
Based on comments and recommendations from our customers, we have been able to introduce
many improvements to our ski insurance policies and cover activities and situations
excluded by many other insurers. By way of example, our policies automatically include
cover for heli-skiing; parapenting; theft from roof boxes for those driving to resorts;
skis left unlocked outside mountain restaurants; and cover for piste closure when
the resort has 80% of runs closed (as opposed to the 100% resort closure required
by so many policies).
Following independent research by Defaqto, an independent financial research company, our Premier Plus winter sports policy has achieved a 5 Star Rating for quality of cover.
