The excess on the Premier Plus and Senior Citizens policies is £35, for Premier and Standard policies it is £50. An excess of £100 applies to claims under personal liability cover.

The policy excess is only payable on certain sections, as shown in the Summary of Cover, and can be removed by the payment of an excess waiver premium.

Please note that the excess waiver premium must be included at the time the policy is purchased as we are unable to add this option once the cover has commenced.

The excess on the Backpacker policy is £50. This can be increased to £100 at the time the policy is purchased in order to gain a 10% discount from the total premium. The excess waiver option is not available on our Backpacker policies.
