The excess waiver premium waives all excesses on the policies and can be calculated using the check box "excess waiver" on our Quotation system.

The cost of the excess waiver premium is calculated on a per person basis, with a 50% discount for children, and must be applied to everyone insured on the policy schedule. The excess waiver premium must be included at the time the policy is purchased as we are unable to add this option once the cover has commenced.

Please note that even if you have purchased the excess waiver, you will still have to pay any additional excesses applied because of a pre-existing medical condition.

The excess waiver option is not available on our Backpacker policies.
