Can I increase the personal possessions limit to cover jewellery, camcorders, etc?
Travel insurance policies are designed and priced to offer cover for essential items you take on your journey and are not designed to offer the same cover as a household contents policy.
Valuable items such as jewellery, watches, furs, photographic, audio, video, camcorder or computer equipment are covered subject to the maximum amount payable being limited to £500 on our Premier Plus and Senior citizens policies, £300 on our Premier policies and £200 on our Standard and Backpacker policies.
If you need higher levels of cover for your personal possessions we recommend you arrange to insure them with an
all-risks household contents policy offering cover both at home and abroad.
