The policy provides cover under the medical, personal accident and personal possessions sections of the policy, but there is no third party liability cover provided whilst driving a car or other mechanically propelled vehicle. This is an industry-standard clause and is designed to ensure travel insurance policies do not have the effect (nor charge the premium) of motor policies.
Please note that, under the personal possessions section of cover, your money and valuable items (such as jewellery, watches, furs, photographic, audio, video, camcorder or computer equipment) are not covered if left unattended in a motor vehicle.
